Halo has the sweetest, happiest personality and lights up every room she is in. She is incredibly social, curious and determined, with a cheeky little sense of humor that keeps us laughing. She loves music and will stop whatever she’s doing when Dad picks up his guitar. She’s always clapping, dancing and smiling, and she has recently started copying the actions to her favorite songs. She truly brings so much joy wherever she goes.

Halo’s favorite things are music, dancing and being in the water! She loves when Dad plays his guitar and sings to her, and you can almost guarantee she’ll be clapping and dancing along. She loves splashing in the pool and absolutely fell in love with the beach. She couldn’t get enough of the water or playing in the sand. She also loves books, exploring and being included in whatever Mum and Dad are doing. Lately, she’s been having so much fun doing the actions to songs like the Hokey Pokey!

Being from Australia and raising Halo in the US, one of the hardest parts of living so far from home is watching her grow up without our family nearby. We would use part of the prize to take Halo home to Australia to see the family she hasn’t seen since she was six months old. We’d also put some toward her future and use the rest to create special family memories. More than anything, it would give us the chance to bring the people Halo loves together again.
