Amayah is very head-strong. When she wants to be held she will crawl right over to you and crawl up your legs. She loves to grab everything and see everything we're doing. When we go out to eat or in public spaces she people watches. She is great when people come up to her and her face lights up when you call her beautiful. She loves learning new things and tries everything!

What are Amayah Burke's favorite activities?

Amayah loves music. She will watch Ms. Rachel while she takes her bottle and only reacts with music. In the car her face lights up anytime her favorite music is playing. She loves to play in the pool and loves bath time. When she's in her room, she loves to stand herself up on her favorite leapfrog toy. She clicks all the buttons and will play with it all day! She loves to get dressed up and go to restaurants where she plays with her teethers and watches everyone.

How would $25,000 impact your family?

As we are a military family, my husband works full-time hours and can get called in at anytime. This led me to leave my job, and work part-time remote to stay home and take care of our daughter, as we can't afford childcare. During this time, I decided to go back to school full-time to earn a degree for our family. This has added challenges, so this money would help us get in-home care or put her in daycare so she can have social interactions. It would also give her more financial stability.
