Brody LaValle

Brody’s personality can be described as joyful, playful, resilient, and inquisitive. He has a remarkable talent for bringing smiles and laughter to those around him. Despite the challenges he has faced, Brody is always wearing a smile. His tendency to quickly erupt into belly laughter for something as simple as a silly face or sound is matched in its intensity only by a keen awareness of the world around him that everyone quickly notices and admires.

Brody is happiest when he’s splashing around in the swimming pool or bathtub, and he seems to have inherited his dad's passion for hockey. His favorite toy is his baby hockey stick. Brody also loves singing with his mama, and his current favorite song is “The Itsy Bitsy Spider.” Reading is another one of his favorite activities, with “Dear Zoo” being his favorite book. Brody’s favorite animal is a duck; he gets a kick out of our quacking noises!

Brody has a critical congenital heart defect known as Tricuspid Atresia. This means he only has 1/2 of a fully functioning heart; he will require a 2nd heart surgery at age 4 and ongoing medical care throughout his life. We would use the $25,000 to save for his future medical care. We also want to focus on enriching Brody's life with fun and happiness. Our goal is to create lasting family memories by providing him with a childhood filled with play, adventure, and endless moments of laughter.
