Kelila Sedona Brown

Kelila is incredibly engaged in the world around her and tracks every movement with big doe eyes. When someone holds her, she grabs their face with both hands to fully take them in. She reminds us to cherish every moment simply by watching the way she is so present. And much like the Sedona she was named after, she radiates a calming energy -- even animals gravitate towards her!

A true Pisces, she loves splashing in the water, be it a pool or the bath, and cracking up at brother's silly faces. She's recently discovered her feet and kicks them high in the sky, sometimes sneaking a nibble. Her ideal Saturday is a stroll around the zoo strapped to her mama followed by a peaceful nap on daddy's chest.

This award would allow us to expand our family pickle business and invest in our family's future. Kelila has been part of this every step of the way -- she was in her mama's belly as she developed recipes, pulled permits and fermented crates of vegetables. She's been with us at every farmers market. Our regular customers even refer to Kelila as Gherkin, our baby pickle. This money would allow us reach more people, so we can create more opportunities for her and her brother.
