Mateo Escalante

Mateo is the most cheerful kid. His life started rough but even though he’d spent 11 days in the NICU, Mateo was the biggest trooper, the toughest boy, the warrior, who had overcome his diagnosis and was the biggest and happiest miracle on the entire floor. Knowing Mateo is loving Mateo and he makes sure that he shares his love with you too. For 6 months his smile has been melting hearts, and now that he knows how to, his kisses bring the biggest joy. He’s active, cheerful, and loves life

His favorite activities are crawling, playing with mama, talking to dada, and chasing after his big sister/pup Zola. Mateo loves adventures and it shows as he conquers the world one flight at a time! As a 6 month old he’s already managed to travel to 3 states, 3 countries, and 3 continents while visiting family and creating some core memories. Every trip he handles with the biggest smile and his parents are very grateful

The $25k will help us send Mateo to daycare, to help him learn more social skills and learn how to be more independent. It will help us start his college fund, and hope that with how smart he is already, he’ll be able to attend one of the worlds best colleges. We hope that putting Mateo through good education, he will be able to not only learn from his parents but also best teachers, and hope that his experiences help him become a well rounded, kind, smart, compassionate person
