About Naïm Hyder's personality

His personality is so unique. You can tell he genuinely loves people even when he sees or meets them for the first time. At first his reaction is curious, but never scared. And it takes very little for him to warm up to others, which always surprised us because even when he is supposed to have those “phases” where he only wants to be around those he knows, he just never seemed to mind playing and interacting with both adults and children.

What are Naïm Hyder's favorite activities?

Naïm loves books and biking! It’s amazing how we can put a book in front of him even in busy or loud environments where he may get frustrated, and he just calms down as soon as you read to him. He loves looking at the pictures but what’s funny is he’ll look up at you to confirm you’re still reading to him. Naïm also recently started biking. We were surprised at how much fun he has moving it around with his little feet. Even when he had his first fall, he just wanted to get back on it.

How would $25,000 impact your family?

Naïm is in the high risk category for hearing loss. Naïm’s speech is delayed and our ENT has said it’s likely continued fluid in the ears that isn’t draining well after his ear infections. Dad became suddenly deaf in 2021 during COVID so with that family history added, it’s incredibly important we go to all the medical experts to ensure he is on the right track. We will also use the money to put into a 529 Savings Plan and an ABLE Savings Plan to ensure he is setup for success in the future.
