Atlas James-Patrick Dougherty

Atlas is all smiles and laughs these days! He only started laughing a few weeks ago and giggles at just about everything his parents do! Since birth he has been very brave and rarely cries unless tired or hungry! That baby could probably sleep through a train going by his bed. He loves his parents very much and always gives a big gummy smile when he sees one of us for the first time of the day! We have been very lucky to have such an expressive and calm baby!

Atlas loves getting little tosses up in the air by his dad! He also loves tummy time with his mom and loves to bonk himself on the head with a toy just before chewing on it! One of his recent games is sticking his feet in your face to eat. He finds it very funny!

The prize money would be an incredible help to our family's start of a new chapter. Atlas' father landed as a permanent resident in Canada from Indiana one month before Atlas was born. It's an exciting new adventure for our family as we begin our life in Canada after 8 years of long distance and long drives. We don't know what the future holds but we couldn't imagine that future without our amazing son in it. We would invest in his education and interest to give him more opportunities!
