Lucy’s spirit is pure light- just like her name! Though her journey has been filled with challenges, she meets each one with joy, determination, and grace beyond her years. She is a true fighter! Her eyes are amazing and sparkle with understanding. She is very expressive in her laugh and side-eye looks. She radiates strength and love, reminding everyone who meets her that miracles are real—and that courage can shine even from the tiniest heart.

Lucy fills her days with joy, curiosity, and incredible determination. She has favorite songs that she dances to with a head bob. She loves books—studying every page, listening to stories, and proudly “reading along” by filling in the words she’s memorized. Her therapy time is full of “Thera-play,” where hard work meets laughter and courage. She lights up when meeting new people, greeting every stranger like a friend. Lucy turns everyday moments into miracles of joy, strength, and connection.

Lucy was born with a spinal cord injury that changed her life’s path—but never her spirit. She’s made amazing progress through therapy and sheer determination. This prize would help us pursue promising new stem cell and spinal therapies that could improve her movement and independence. Every bit of progress means the world to us, and this support could bring Lucy one step closer to the freedom she works so hard for every day.
