Even in the NICU, our baby showed his incredible personality—he began smiling at just 4 weeks old, warming the hearts of everyone around him. His smile is bright, comforting, and full of joy. He loves to cuddle and be close, bringing a sense of peace to whoever holds him. The NICU staff lovingly called him the “emotional support baby,” as he became a favorite among nurses and doctors who would visit just to snuggle and soak up his sweet, calming presence.

His favorite activity right now is tummy time on the chest of whoever’s holding him. He lifts his head to look up with bright eyes and a big smile, clearly loving the close connection and attention. It’s a special bonding moment he truly enjoys. He’s also fascinated by his zebra rattle, tracking it with his eyes and turning his head to follow it while on his tummy—showing off both curiosity and growing strength in the sweetest way.

We’re so thankful to the doctors, nurses, and the support of previous NICU families. Without them, we couldn’t have made it through the emotional rollercoaster. Their kind messages and thoughtful gifts on Mother’s and Father’s Day meant the world to us, helping us pause our worries and celebrate those special moments. We want to pay it forward by donating the money, so other families can feel that same love and support. It’s our way of saying thank you.
