Adriel is a joyful, loving, and incredibly determined little boy. Despite the challenges his condition brings, he never stops trying. He finds his own way to communicate, connect, and participate in the world around him. He is curious, expressive, and knows what he wants. At only 11 months old, Adriel has already shown us that his condition does not define him. His strength, personality, and beautiful smile are what make him truly special.
What are Adriel Gonzalez Rivas's favorite activities?Adriel loves Mickey Mouse, books, music, cuddles, and spending time with the people around him. He especially loves choosing his own books by blinking or blowing kisses. He enjoys being talked to, watching what everyone is doing, and being included in everyday activities. He loves attention and interacting with his family and nurses. Most of all, he loves anything that makes him feel included, happy, and part of the moment because he is a big boy haha!
What would your family do with $25,000?If Adriel won $25,000, we would use it to make a difference in his life and in the lives of other children. We would donate a portion to the hospital researching SMARD and searching for potential treatments. We would also donate to Children’s Specialized Hospital, where Adriel received care, to help other children with disabilities. We would invest the rest in Adriel’s therapies, equipment, future, and creating beautiful memories as a family.
