KJ is incredibly sweet, loving, and full of joy. He smiles at nearly everyone who looks his way and truly never meets a stranger. What amazes us most is how empathetic he already seems to be. If someone is sad or feeling down, he becomes concerned and wants to be close to them, as if he knows they need a little extra love. He is curious, determined, playful, and has a way of brightening a room just by being himself.

What are Kendrick Messier's favorite activities?

KJ loves playing in his ball pit, exploring everything around him, and pulling himself up to stand so he can practice taking steps around the living room. He also loves being outside, especially going for walks at the park. Surprisingly, he is a wonderful little traveler and loves long car rides! Whether he is playing, exploring somewhere new, or simply spending time with family, KJ is happiest when he is part of the adventure.

What would your family do with $25,000?

A month after KJ was born, his grandmother suffered a stroke. She had planned to be his primary caregiver while we worked, but our lives changed unexpectedly. I have since been unable to return to full-time work while our family adjusts. We would use part of the $25,000 to make necessary home adaptations so she can safely be part of KJ’s everyday life. The remainder would go toward KJ’s future education and childcare, giving our family stability as we navigate this new chapter.
